It was an auspicious occasion as women development cell of  St.joseph college had organised a seminar on “Mental health is wealth” and also celebrated women’s day for all the female faculties of the college.

 The program started at 10.00 am in the auditorium wherein all the female faculty members were welcomed and as a token of appreciation everyone was honoured with a flower and a momento .which  was then followed  by cutting of cake and distribution of snacks.

A prayer was then offered by Asst.prof.Prasad Dabre .The function continued with the best wishes from our Incharge principal Dr.subhash wherein he mentioned that Women is representative of God…nothing can be compared with Women … introduction and welcoming of the Guest was done by Dr.Kavita Almeida..

Mrs. Sujata was an eminent speaker, a Gold Medallist she was also honoured by various Awards and rewards from various govt.and non govt. organisations in her 35yrs of service ..The charge was then given to resource person Mrs.Sujata Tuscano wherein she told all the staff members to introduce themselves and then initiated with the topic .She focused on following

Yourself: spend time with yourself eliminate distractions and experience stillness

get rid of negativity: read inspirational and motivational quotes and distance yourself from negative people

workout: exercising releases and reference which increases your mood

let it out: it’s so important that you talk about your thoughts

Always be grateful:be grateful for the things you have will make you feel better and allow you to attract more amazing things

Food habits: eat right stayfit

worry is the root cause of all disease.

These session  then ended with questionnaire round  which was interestingly handled by her all the queries were resolved. Dr. Johna proposed a  formal vote of thanks to all the gents faculties especially for the special celebration that they had for all the female faculties.
