Objective – To create awareness about the importance of Competitive Exams & Entrepreneurship Development Skills.
Outcomes: 26 students took the benefit of this orientation programme & showed interest in registering for the training programmes conducted by Career Katta.

Changing times compel us to change our methodologies and strategies. Education field is no exception to it and is witnessing huge turmoil since last few years, more so after COVID. Futility of reliance only on classroom teaching is clearly visible and noted even at the Government Level.
Government of Maharashtra, recognising the need to equip the students for changing times has come up with an initiative of “Career Katta – करियर कट्टा”
Under this initiative different activities are conducted on regular basis as follows:
- आय. ए. एस आपल्या भेटीला – Everyday one lecture is conducted for students preparing for civil services from 5 pm to 7 pm. The benefit of this lecture series can be availed at Rs. 365/- p.a.
- उद्योजक आपल्या भेटीला – Everyday one lecture is conducted by an entrepreneur, sharing his ideas of succeeding in a business or venture. The benefit of this lecture series can be availed at Rs. 365/- p.a.
- Series on Indian Constitution – Analysis and information about Indian Constitution everyday from 7.30
- This facility can be availed free of cost.
वृत्तवेध – Information on important news of the day is given every morning by 9 am. This facility is available free of cost.
In order to make students aware about the Career Katta & also to know the genuineness about the students for the training programme, an orientation was organized by Career Katta Committee. Prof. Prasad Dabre, welcomed the students who are interested to enrol themselves for this training programme & briefed about the Career Katta activities & various training programmes conducted by them. Many students showed interest for enrolling themselves for the training programme of Competitive exams, while few were interested in Entrepreneurship Skill Development Programme. I/c Principal Dr. Subhash D’Souza also guided the students regarding the programme. Total 26 students were present for this programme. The session was concluded with a formal vote of thanks by Prof. Prasad Dabre.
