REPORT ON CAMPUS PLACEMENT DRIVE
ORGANIZED BY THE PLACEMENT CELL

The Placement Cell of St. Joseph College of Arts & Commerce, in collaboration with Global Talent Track, Pune had organized a campus placement drive on 16th January, 2021. Around 529 candidates had registered for this placement drive out of which 89 were the ex-students of St. Joseph Colle & the remaining were from different regions of Vasai-Virar. The inauguration function was conducted by the college in the auditorium. The committee members of Dnyandeep Mandal were present for this inauguration function. Among them were Mr. Francis Tuscano, the President of Dnyandeep Mandal, Mr. Joe Vice President, Mr. Stanislaus Lobo, Secretary, Dr. Subhash D’Souza, I/C Principal of St. Joseph College, Mr. William Rodrigues, Office Superintendent, Asst. Prof. Mr. Wilfred D’Monte, In-charge of Placement Cell & the entire team of Global Talent Track along with the other staff members & the candidates were present.
Anchoring was done by Asst. Prof. Jeslina Almeida. The inauguration functions started with a short prayer by Prof. Prasad Dabre & Asst. Prof. Shradha Lopes. Asst. Prof. Wilfred D’Monte welcomed all the Dnyandeep Mandal Members & the Team of Global Talent Track. Mr. Stanislaus Lobo, Secretary of Dnyandeep Mandal, mentioned in his speech, that this college has helped students create job opportunities during the lockdown & he also guided the candidates with regards to the development of skills after academics & also gave them best wishes. Dr. Subhash D’Souza, I/C Principal, also guided the candidates. Mr. Arjun Kale, the executive of Global Talent Track gave a brief idea about the screening process for placement & also the interview process. The inauguration function was concluded by vote of thanks by Asst. Prof. Alisha Tuscano. At the end, MoU was signed with Global Talent Track Pvt. Ltd. in Principal’s cabin. Around 6 companies like AU Bank, Syntel/ SLK Global, Team Lender, IDFC Bank, Hinduja Group, TMI Network, Teleperformance had come for interviews, & these interviews lasted till 5:00 p.m. Approximately 750 candidates had registered, out of which more than 300 candidates were present for the interview & approximately 150 candidates were shortlisted for the above-mentioned companies.
